We exported Hosui pear to Vietnam from Hiroshima prefecture, Japan in October 2017. As of now, there are only 2 fruits (apple and pear) which are permitted by the Vietnamese government for exportation. Furthermore, the fruits for Vietnam exportation must be shipped from the farmland and sorting facility that are registered by both governments. Upon this transaction, we were strongly supported by Zen-noh (National Federation of Agriculture Cooperatice Associations) and Zen-noh International Corporation to secure the Hosui pear for Vietnam exportation. The Hosui pear will be sold at local wholesale market and high-end fruits shop in Ho Chi Minh, and we are planning to export Japanese apple to Vietnam in November 2017.
We exported Shine Muscat to Taiwan from Yamanashi prefecture, Japan in September 2017. We carefully chose the Shine Muscat with the best quality by ourselves, and conducted direct shipment from the farmland to the local supermarket and high-end fruits shop with high freshness. We will expand our sales channel in Taiwan to export more and more Japanese fruits in their best seasons.
We exported Kyoho grape, Shine Muscat and peach to Singapore from Ota fruits market, Japan in August 2017. We sourced these fruits from Ota fruits market in order to meet the importer’s specific needs on variety and size. We will utilize our experience (ex. diversification on supplier, temperature control) from this exportation to expand our business opportunity in other southeast Asian countries.
We exported Shine Muscat to Hong Kong from Yamanashi prefecture, Japan in July 2017. We carefully chose the Shine Muscat with the best quality by ourselves, and conducted direct shipment from the farmland to the local supermarket to achieve high freshness. We will expand our sales channel in Hong Kong to export more and more Japanese fruits in their best seasons.
We exported white strawberries to Singapore directly from Kumamoto, Japan in January 2017. The export amount was 120 packs. The variety we offered is called Awayuki which is one of the few varieties of white strawberry we have in Japan. Although the white color may make the strawberries seem unripened and sour, it is in fact sweeter than the normal red strawberry. (Due to its appearance, some call it ‘white jewelry’) During the Lunar New Year in Singapore, people often purchase gifts for each other, and of course, fruit is always a good choice. We targeted this season to gain more awareness of our product and the 120 packs sold out in just one week.
